DESIGN
The starting point for our projects is the atmosphere of the garden, its setting, the architecture of the house and existing flora. Key to the design is the relationship between the interior and exterior space.
We are keen to create a unity between the two and work closely with our clients to ensure that the results work to enhance your living space. Our concepts are drawn from many sources, including: interior design, visual arts and architecture. We create unique, timeless gardens that fulfil the client brief, maximise the space and look good throughout the year.
HARD LANDSCAPING
The architectural benefits of hard landscaping are enormous; we ensure that this element of our design complements the style of the house, meets clients’ needs and provides a beautiful backdrop for our planting. We specify natural materials and use them in a sympathetic style.
The creation of your garden requires the successful co-ordination of people with differing skills. We have extensive experience using either one of our own construction teams who have all been tried and tested by us over the years, or your own preferred contractor.

PLANTING
We have created many different planting schemes and are not tied to a particular style. Colour, texture, foliage and the architectural qualities of each plant are very important, as is the need to provide year round interest. Common to our plant design is the dramatic impact created by using large groups of plants with a minimal palette; this provides a sense of space, focus and a rhythmic composition.

MAINTENANCE
All gardens benefit from regular skilled maintenance, keeping your garden looking good all year round is a challenge for even the keenest of gardeners. We can provide a maintenance service for your garden, or help you find the right maintenance contractor, and pride ourselves on a consistently high standard of care.
